Purpose of the Scouting Packages
The 1-week and 2-week South Africa Scouting Packages are designed to offer personalized, immersive experiences for individuals and families considering relocation to South Africa. These packages aim to provide a comprehensive understanding of the local real estate market, neighborhoods, schools, and essential services, while connecting clients to the resources they need to make informed decisions.
2-Week Scouting Package:
Accommodations:
- Choice of upscale Airbnb or luxury hotel.
- Flexible locations, with the option to spend the entire two weeks in Johannesburg, or to explore a second region such as Cape Town.
Day 1: Arrival & Settle In
- Airport pick-up and transfer to accommodations.
- Virtual orientation meeting after settling in to discuss the itinerary.
Days 2-5: Real Estate Tours & Consultations (Johannesburg or Pretoria)
- 4 days of comprehensive real estate tours with a licensed real estate agent.
- Real estate tours include complimentary pick-up from your accommodation by the realtor.
- Consultations about neighborhoods, housing options, and the buying/renting process.
Day 6: School Tours & Transportation
- Full-day dedicated to school tours in key areas of interest.
- Private transportation provided to visit 2-3 top international/private schools.
- Overview of enrollment procedures and school offerings.
Days 7-8: Immigration, Healthcare & Car Purchasing
- In-person or virtual meeting with South African immigration consultant for visa and residency guidance.
- Consultation with me on local healthcare options and private health insurance providers.
- Consultation with me on car purchasing (buying new vs. used, registration, leasing options).
Days 9-12: Real Estate Tours (Cape Town or Johannesburg)
- Option to stay in Johannesburg for the full two weeks or transfer to Cape Town.
- 3 days of real estate tours and consultations with a local realtor.
- Real estate tours include complimentary pick-up from your accommodation by the realtor.
- Overview of lifestyle, neighborhood highlights, and housing trends.
Day 13: Optional Cultural & Leisure Activities
- Optional sightseeing tours (e.g., Table Mountain, Cape of Good Hope, local wineries) can be arranged with a preferred touring company.
Day 14: Final Consultation & Departure
- Final one-on-one consultation to address remaining questions.
- Airport transfer for departure or extended stay arrangements.
